Capitol State Forest is western Washington's most accessible year-round OHV destination, offering 91,000 acres of managed forest with extensive trail networks designed for off-highway vehicles. The forest's low elevation means it rarely sees snow that sticks, making it one of the few PNW destinations available 12 months a year. Trails range from smooth logging roads to technical muddy single-track, with the signature experience being the rich, dark mud that coats everything by the end of a day's ride.
