    Buying Cheap Suspension

    That $399 lift kit on Amazon exists for a reason, it's barely functional. Cheap suspension creates alignment problems, wears out fast, and rides terribly. Buy once, cry once.

    Lifting Before Tires

    A 4-inch lift with stock tires looks ridiculous and performs worse than stock suspension with good tires. Get the tires first.

    Ignoring Driveline Angles

    Lifts change driveshaft angles. Vibes, clunks, and premature wear result from ignoring this. Budget for driveshaft or transfer case drops as part of any lift over 2 inches.

    Skipping the Alignment

    After any suspension work, get an alignment. Skipping this destroys tires and creates handling problems. It's $100-200,just do it.
