Spring Mountains Backcountry is Las Vegas's unexpected mountain escape, offering pine-forested trails and alpine peaks just 45 minutes from the Strip. The mountains rise nearly 12,000 feet above the desert, creating a sky island of unique biodiversity surrounded by the Mojave Desert. Forest roads wind through bristlecone pine groves, past ancient limestone formations, and to viewpoints overlooking the Las Vegas valley far below.
