The DNR-managed area features rocky trail sections, steep hill climbs, and muddy forest roads that challenge moderately built 4x4s. The rock gardens are the main attraction, with boulder-strewn trails requiring careful wheel placement and ground clearance. It's an excellent training ground for drivers preparing for more remote destinations.
