The Olympic Peninsula is one of the most ecologically diverse places on the continent, where Pacific coastline, temperate rainforest, and glaciated alpine peaks exist within a few miles of each other. Forest roads through Olympic National Forest access hidden valleys draped in moss so thick the silence feels physical. The Hoh, Queets, and Quinault rainforests are the crown jewels, but the network of forest roads surrounding these areas provides weeks of exploration through landscapes unlike anything else in North America.
