Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest offers some of the most dramatic mountain scenery accessible by 4x4 in the Pacific Northwest. Forest roads climb from lowland old-growth valleys through subalpine meadows to viewpoints where Mt. Baker's ice-covered summit fills the skyline. The North Cascades provide a rugged backdrop, with glacially carved valleys and cascading waterfalls visible from many routes. Late summer wildflower displays rival anything in the Swiss Alps.
