Apache Trail is a moderate 40 miles off-road trail near Apache Junction, AZ. It requires a properly built 4x4 with All-terrain tires and is best run October - April. Stock trucks and Jeeps are not recommended; plan on the required modifications before attempting it.

One of America's most scenic drives winds through the rugged Superstition Mountains east of Phoenix, following a route used by Apache people for centuries. The unpaved section between Tortilla Flat and Roosevelt Dam features dramatic canyon walls, saguaro-studded hillsides, and views that have inspired countless Western films.
