# Apache Trail

**Vehicle requirements:** 4WD with low range, all-terrain or mild mud-terrain tires (31–33"), skid plates recommended. Stock-to-2" lift handles most obstacles.

**Best season:** October - April

One of America's most scenic drives through the Superstition Mountains east of Phoenix. The unpaved section winds past Roosevelt Dam, Tonto National Monument, and canyon walls that inspired countless Western films.
