Buffalo Springs Campground sits at 9,000 feet in aspen and spruce in the San Isabel National Forest, near Fairplay and Antero Reservoir. Sites are widely spaced with dirt, rocky aprons that fit trailers up to 30 feet. You get fire rings, tables, vault toilets and drinking water, but no RV hookups. Two vehicles or one RV come with the site, and a third vehicle is $11. ATVs and off-road vehicles are not allowed in camp. Sites not reserved five days out go first come, first served.
