Trail Conditions
No reports yet
Hidden Falls Adventure Park near Marble Falls, Texas is one of the largest privately operated off-road parks in the country, covering more than 2,100 acres with roughly 240 miles of trail, far more than the 60 plus our record carried. The scale is the reason people drive across the state for it. Terrain runs from graded ranch road to serious Hill Country granite and limestone, with rock gardens, ledges, and water crossings two to three feet deep, and the trail ratings skew heavily toward the harder end of the scale. A stock rig has plenty to do here, but the signature trails are built for lockers, 35s, and a spotter. The park is open to full-size 4x4s including Jeeps, Broncos, and Toyotas, along with UTVs, ATVs, and motorcycles. Entry requires a signed park waiver and day use park fees, and camping requires a reservation. Check the park's site for current fees and hours, since they change. Safety rules the operator enforces include DOT approved helmets for motorcycle and ATV riders, seatbelts for UTV occupants, a strict prohibition on alcohol and illegal drugs, and a requirement that anyone under 18 be accompanied by a parent or legal temporary guardian. Lodging on site covers RV hookups, tent camping, cabins, and bunkhouses, which is why weekend trips here work so well for groups. Hill Country granite is hard on tires and sidewalls, and the limestone gets slick where water runs across it. Summer is hot and the water crossings are the only relief. Spring wildflowers and fall are the best windows. Marble Falls is close for fuel, groceries, and tire repair, and Austin is about an hour and a half away, which keeps the park busy on holiday weekends.
