Chambers Lake Campground sits at 9,200 feet on Chambers Lake in the Roosevelt National Forest, about 60 miles from Fort Collins. Single and double sites have tables and fire rings, with vault toilets, drinking water and a playground. There are no RV hookups, so fill your tank before you arrive. The no-wake lake has a boat ramp in camp and holds rainbow, cutthroat and lake trout, but the ramp may be unusable in late summer. Beetle kill removal cut the shade at some sites.
