About This Campground
Tangle Lakes Campground is a BLM campground at mile 21.5 of the Denali Highway, among a chain of long, narrow lakes. Sites are first come, first served at $20 a night, with tables, fire rings, vault toilets, water pumps and bear-proof lockers. The boat launch is the put-in for the 30 mile Delta Wild and Scenic River float. Moose and caribou are around, and many fall hunters use it as base camp.
