# Flambeau River State Forest

**Vehicle requirements:** 4WD with low range, all-terrain or mild mud-terrain tires (31–33"), skid plates recommended. Stock-to-2" lift handles most obstacles.

Remote forest trails along the wild Flambeau River in northern Wisconsin. River crossings, dense pine and birch forest, and excellent dispersed camping in true northwoods wilderness.
