# Cinnamon Pass

**Vehicle requirements:** 4WD with low range, all-terrain or mild mud-terrain tires (31–33"), skid plates recommended. Stock-to-2" lift handles most obstacles.

**Best season:** July - September

The gentler companion to Engineer Pass, crossing at 12,640 feet through wildflower-carpeted alpine meadows. The ghost town of Animas Forks near the summit is one of Colorado's best-preserved mining ruins.
